The Universe Is A Poem
“We are all lines or metaphors in this poem. So the idea is, you know, not so much, who am I? But the question more is like, what do I mean?… What do you mean?…
And so really, more than the search for identity is the search for meaning… Because by way of meaning, the human being can endure anything…”

“If you want mathematics to be meaningful, you must resign of certainty.
If you want certainty, get rid of meaning.
You cannot have both.”
— Imre Lakatos, Philosopher of Mathematics & Science

Yusuf Johnson
the humblest & kindest teacher I’ve ever had
Somehow we owe everything we have in our life to the humble & kind souls who, despite all our weaknesses & flaws, decided to help us and not leave us alone…
Yusuf Johnson was my PGCE SP & FET maths lecturer at University of Cape Town in 2020 and I owe many things in my life & maths education to him.
He is the one who introduced me to the wonderful lady I’m in love with🙏🙏🙏😅 And I had the honour of working as his teaching assistant during the rest of the time I was in South Africa, i.e. 2021-2022.
